Cross Keys 29   Rumney 3

Cross Keys dominated the game in torrential rain at Pandy Park. After a strong forward drive Simon Davies landed a good drop goal for Rumney. Simon Crane and Paul Watkins scored tries for Keys , both tries were converted by Ioan Bebb who also added five penalties.
Steve Ford, Coach Rumney RFC : "We struggled in the front five and won no clean ball. We also gave away too many penalties, we were playing off the back foot all the time".
