Llanharan swamped Rumney in torrential rain at The Dairy Field. Skillful play in appalling conditions brought tries for Llanharan from Scott Bowen, Gareth Davies, Wayne Merry, Arwel Davies and Mark Roper. Roper also kicked a penalty and conversion and Wayne Jervis kicked a penalty. Rumney had the last word as wing forward Simon Greedy finished off a good handling movement between backs and forwards with a well taken try. Simon Davies landed the conversion. Les Brown 1st XV Coach, Rumney RFC : "We will be glad to have Glenn George back next week to give the forwards a bit of direction. The only positive thing at the moment is that our fitness is improving".
